History

The Carrier Building was built around 1903.  The building
has seen many changes over the years.  The first level has
been retail, the third floor was a gentleman’s club until
around 1940, then it was abandoned.

The second floor has seen the most changes over its life.
Historical uses were a basketball court, boxing arena, movie
theater, piano instructor, doctor’s office, photo studio, karate
studio, appraisal office, art studio, real estate office.


Art & Design

The Metro Gallery & Offices occupy a portion of the
second and third levels which is an open space of
around 4,500 square feet with 20’ ceilings.

The offices are modular boxes which rest on Teflon
skids.  This allows the boxes to be moved around
to accommodate future needs.  The current layout
provides a large amount of floor space and wall
space that makes up the Metro Gallery.

The current exhibits are the “Art of Amy Seidel”
and “SportBike Design”.  The Gallery winds around the offices.

Presentation Theater

Included with your office is the use of the theater.  Equipped with a
NEC DLP video projection system showered onto a 12 foot screen,
your presentation will make all others look amateur.
















The provided computer is connected to the Internet and also has
PowerPoint installed. Just copy your presentation to the PC or plug in
your notebook PC to the video cable.  Wireless Internet is provided
free of charge to all.

If your information is totally web based, just turn on the PC and
projector, you’re ready to go. Great for training classes and website
design applications.

Have a video or DVD to present? The Dolby DTS 7.1 Surround Sound
Harman Kardon audio system packs quite a punch. Comfortable
theatre seating for 11 puts everyone at ease.
